Hando’s Tanker Hire’s Workplace Health and Safety Policy overview, is to maintain safe and healthy working conditions for all our employees and contractors, providing appropriate tools, plant, equipment, operational processes, and safe work systems, covering all operations.
This policy, along with others, including, but not limited to, our drug and alcohol policy, and our fatigue management policy, is aimed at the elimination of work related injury and illness. Incorporated into our daily work practices are measures, such as risk assessments, to ensure that there are no injuries as a result of our work practices.
Hando’s Tanker Hire management, accepts the responsibility for enforcing our safe work methods practices, and for providing information, instruction, and training at all times.
We strive to provide suitable facilities, and/or make the necessary arrangements, for the welfare of all our employees and contractors.
Where risks need to be ‘assessed’ under a specific duty, we will ensure that an assessment is carried out, and that all controls necessary are implemented.

Risk management is built into our day-to-day work, risk assessment forms are carried in our driver’s manuals, and risk assessments are carried out prior to commencing any tasks on site.
