Hando’s Tanker Hire Pty Ltd has been in operation for 15+ Years, the company director, Mr. Neal Hando, brings with him over twenty years’ experience in the waste industry. Handos Tanker hire has over 60 years experience within in its employees with high levels of experience with other similar corporations.
Handos Tanker Hire’s employees act as consultants for other waste companies, and are highly sort after by customers and other organizations within the waste industry, for their extensive knowledge, expertise, and the ability to think outside the square, to achieve the desired outcomes, with as minimal cost yet high standard of safety to the client as possible.+
As Hando’s Vacuum Tankers are of our own design, they too are highly sort after for their effortless and efficient pumping capabilities. Others have tried to replicate our design, but have been unsuccessful in doing so. Hando’s currently own seven tankers and five trucks; plus fifteen trucks at our disposal (with the assistance of excellent and efficient subcontractors). Each of our tankers carries between 20,000 & 30,000 litres of liquid, and we have four body trucks and have access to truck and dogs which can carry up to 32,000 litres if necessary.
Currently Hando’s hold the Liquid Sludge Transport Services contract, and emergency response contract with Redland City Council, and the current Liquid Sludge Transport Services contract with Queensland Urban Utilities (for the western plants over the past (five years).
We have always provided quality service and expertise to Queensland Urban Utilities, and received excellent feedback in regards to our workmanship and administration services.
Hando’s constantly strives to excel and improve the quality of our work, whilst implementing and improving where necessary, in order to provide a more proficient service to our clients.
Hando’s Tanker Hire received an award from Queensland Urban Utilities in 2011, for our outstanding support and response in the 2011 Queensland floods.

Hando’s are an EPA licenced company, and all of our track-able waste is documented accordingly with the EPA standards. We use only EPA approved and licenced disposal facilities.

At Handos Tanker Hire we believe in slow reliable growth, as a business that has been in the industry since 2008, we have grown into a reliable fleet of trucks and operator. Our 10-year plan as a business is to have the same steady growth, we have had in the past 10 years. This would mean a fleet which would double in size and have the same reliable and custom made sought after equipment we utilize presently. Our local employment rate will grow dramatically helping the local community and unemployment rate. Although we provide Australia wide services at this point in time we are primarily based in south east Queensland. With this steady growth we will have the ability to expand our sectors to other major states and cities. Whilst we grow in equipment this will follow suit in management and safety aspects. A safety committee would be introduced while suitable operations and fleet managers will come into our team of already highly experienced individuals.
